Matthew Cox

Matthew is a Fellow of IIRSM and has worked across the Middle East in various senior QHSE roles for more than 20 years. He currently serves as Corporate HSE Director for Almabani General Contractors, based in Riyadh, KSA.

In 2014, he was recognized by the UAE Ministry of Labour,(now MOHRE) for his contribution to Occupational Health and Safety in the country and was the first overseas recipient of the Prestigious IIRSM President’s Commendation award.

He was IIRSM’s UAE Branch Chairman from 2013-9 and since 2018, he has served as both Trustee and Council Member of the Institute.

A passionate advocate of common-sense driven Risk Management, he seeks to achieve safer workplaces through employee education and empowerment
