Faris Alzahrani

Faris Alzahrani is a seasoned fire and life safety professional with over 12 years of academic and industry experience. His expertise spans building codes and standards, life safety design, fire protection, occupational health and safety, and security operations management. Faris holds multiple certifications, including Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), Certified Fire Inspector (CFI-I), ISO Lead Auditor(9001, 14001, and 45001), and API780 Security Risk Assessor. As registered associate fire engineer, he has contributed to a wide range of projects, from industrial fire protection design to the development of
integrated fire, safety and security management systems. Committed to professional development, Faris has contributed in training more than 1,055 hours, and participated in over 200 continuing education programs. He earned his MSc from Ulster University, UK, and holds both BS and AS degrees from Jubail Industrial College, Saudi Arabia. His research interests include fire prevention technologies, safety culture, and OHS risk management.
