Dr. Ahmed AlTayyar, Chair of Health, Safety and Environment at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, brings over 21 years of distinguished leadership and clinical experience spanning Saudi Aramco and his current institution. A dual Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in Occupational and Internal Medicine, Dr. AlTayyar completed his specialized training at the University of Toronto, where he also earned a Diploma of Industrial Health. He holds an American Board of Internal Medicine Diplomate status alongside his MBBS from King Faisal University (now Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University) in Dammam.

Dr. AlTayyar’s academic credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering and Management from MIT, reflecting his multidisciplinary expertise. His commitment to advancing medical knowledge extends to his Honorary University lectureship at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University and active membership in numerous prestigious scientific and professional organizations, both locally and internationally
